.ACCREDITATION

Douglas Education Center is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools to award Associate in Specialized Business Degrees and Diplomas.
The Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education. Its accreditation of degree-granting institutions also is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

LICENSING

Douglas Education Center is licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Education, State Board of Private Licensed Schools.

The Cosmetology Academy at Douglas Education Center is licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of State, Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs, State Board of Cosmetology.

AUTHORIZATION

Douglas Education Center is authorized by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, State Board of Private Licensed Schools, to award diploma and certificates upon the successful completion of the academic requirements of the respective programs.

The authorization to award Associate in Specialized Business Degrees has been granted to Douglas Education Center by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, Degree Granting Division of the State Board of Private Licensed Schools.
